When I think of Max Berry, I visualize his super tight black and white characters high up on street posts and electrical boxes. If you know what i’m talking about, take those characters and give them a high dosage of colour and life and you’ve got Max’s new body of work for his upcoming show “A search for ground in higher places”. This is some of the most inspiring and interesting work to come out of Sydney to date. No bullshit, we love it.
