Contributor - Kingbrown

Kingbrown Magazine
Kingbrown is West Australian slang for a longneck beer. It’s also a quality, super limited-edition publication, produced by Yok and Ian Mutch.

Sitting somewhere between a book, a magazine and an art zine, each issue is handcrafted and wrapped fresh inside a brown bag together with cool inserts.

Inside Kingbrown you will find profiles and interviews that take you on a twisted journey, through the studios and minds of innovative leaders in photography, illustration, urban and skateboard art and design, with the aim of keeping you inspired and connected to the subcultures we love most.

Matt Rabbidge
It’s often thought that Brisbane, the little brother to its southern counterparts, is just a big country town with no real creative identity. Matt Rabbidge thinks that is bullshit. The Brisbane based curator and creative producer try’s hard to change the perception, embracing the do-it-yourself culture that is alive and kicking in the city of (humid) dreams to make things happen. After four years at the helm of Nine Lives Gallery, he’s now out on his own, opening a temporary gallery project called Mild Manners in early 2012.
