Video: Project 5 recap featuring Askew, Kyle Hughes-Odgers, 23rd Key and Alex LeHours

The team at Ambush Gallery recently brought together a great mix of artists for another round of Project 5. A yearly art project, which features Australian and International artist painting both live and in their studios, for an outdoor exhibit which eventually produces artwork to go to auction in aid of charity. A great concept, and a great way to have artists from outside of Sydney come to town and show new work.

Check out the video recap featuring Askew One, Kyle Hughes-Odgers, 23rd Key and Alex LeHours.

Alex Lehours – Pandemonium Paradise

The crew at Just Another keep bringing the good stuff to Melbourne in their Project Space. Local Sydney talent Alex Lehours is next up. More info below.

alex-lehours

Alex Lehours is a Sydney based illustrator, artist, designer and muralist whose work can best be described as an eccentric explosion of chaos, humour, colour and absolute randomness. The Sydney based artist constantly features Ink, paint, water colour and aerosol in his work and his first solo show is no exception.

‘Pandemonium Paradise’ is an exhibition that highlights the cynical, raw and humorous characteristics that play a major role in Alex’s work. Bringing together elements of contrasting families, the show explores the subtle harmony, delicate balance and precise equilibrium between good and bad, calm and chaos, beauty and ugly, Pandemonium and Paradise.

An exhibition of new work by Alex Lehours – http://www.justanother.com.au/artists/_alexlehours
Launching on the 12th of October from 6-9pm and runs until the 31st. At Just Another Project Space – 153 Greville St, Prahran
