Outside: Liverpool mural program

The Liverpool district is about an hour west of Sydney and has recently had a small and sporadic face lift by some of Australia’s most active low brow artists. Anthony Lister, Jumbo, Numskull, Skulk, Birdhat and Will Coles each headed out to separate locations and left their mark on a series of buildings and constructs.

It’s great to see councils outside of the city giving artists free reign to create beautiful murals, without restrictions. Definitely a first for the area, and something that City of Sydney needs to consider…

This Sunday at The Projects – Sydney

So, we thought as a little surprise to add to our Semi Permanent experience, we’d host a day at The Projects in Marrickville.

That’s TOMORROW. In association with Semi Permanent and One Day Crew, tomorrow (26th May) we’ll be hosting a day of music, drinks and live painting by some of Sydney’s best. Numskull, Beastman, Jumbo, Scott Marsh, Phibs and Skount (all the way from Amsterdam) will be collaborating on the carpark wall all day from 11am. Come down, say hi and enjoy the Autmun sunshine!

Westsyde store launch “420″ – Darlinghurst

Out of nowehere, Westsyde Connection (a skate store/art hub/art collective/art supplier..etc etc), have announced they are opening a second location, right in the heart of Sydney’s Darlinghurst.

To celebrate, Westsyde is opening their store with an art show of some of Sydney’s finest. Featuring Beastman, Ben Frost, Brett Chan, Bridge Stehli, Days One, Dboe, Jumbo, Kon, MANMAN, Numskull, Pork, Pudl, Rotes, RJ Williams.

Photos: Jumbo and Bafcat “Funbox”
