‘LIV SLO DIE OLD’ is an exhibition of new work by Australian born artist, Bridge Stehli. Now based primarily in London, Bridge returns home to her native Sydney to present her debut solo show.
Bridge suggests the colourful and highly digitalized mix-tape covers of artists such as Juicy J and Gucci Mane as being one of the key aesthetic inspirations behind the work.
Bridge Stehli is an internationally celebrated artist, exhibiting across Australia, Europe and the USA. She was co-curator and founder of the acclaimed Paste modernism exhibition in Sydney and has been featured in numerous publications including Empty, C.O.P, Curvy and has produced murals across Australia and London.
LIV SLO DIE OLD will open the 8th of August, 6pm at kind of — gallery (118 Oxford St, Darlinghurst) and will run until the 18th.
Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 12pm – 6pm.
