Return to Doom Lagoon – Sean Morris Solo in Madrid

Sean Morris is currently in Madrid, Spain where he has a solo exhibition opening at Watdafac Gallery this Thursday. ‘Return To Doom Lagoon’ is more weirdo character magic from Morris, as he tells tales of the girls of Doom Lagoon and their colourful, mildly satanic adventures in bikinis and jean shorts. Reference points include 14 yr old Brooke Shields and 1970s Spanish exploitation cinema. Watdafac Gallery is killing it in Spain right now with a string of recent international solos, the next show in the pipes is an Australian affair as well, featuring the comic stylings of Girl Mountain and HTML Flowers. Get to Madrid and check it out.
